How I deal with depression

Two month ago, i tried to kill myself. My mom was so scared that took me to the doctor, he sent me to the hospital, that my state was urgent. I went to psychiatry, I was so scared and confused, I didn't know what was wrong with me. Since that day I take medication every day. It’s been complicated for me, my mom and my boyfriend.
Depression is a real disease. Being DEPRESSED is hard. Depression destroys hope, joy and energy. The key is to control yourself, it takes time but you have to make positive choices each day. STOP trying to be perfect, be yourself. LOVE yourself.




Some tips that make me feel better:

·       Talk to one person about your feelings
·       Have lunch or coffee with a friend
·       Accompany someone to the movies, a walk
·       Call or text an old friend
·       Go for a walk with a pet
·       Schedule a weekly dinner date
·       Do what makes you happy
·       Go on an adventure
·       Write about your feelings
·       Listen music
